IMPORTANT POLICIES TO UNDERSTAND BEFORE YOU REGISTER.
When you register, you are committing to 18 lessons. You have 22 weeks to complete these 18 lessons. One of these lessons is a recital ( if you choose). If you withdraw before your 18 lessons are complete you will still be charged for your remaining lessons.
** Adults and children under 6 taking private lessons are committing to 12 lessons within 14 weeks. In the event that you withdraw, your credit card will be charged for the remainder of your commitment balance.
***If your session begins AFTER June 1, you will be enrolled into a summer session commitment policy. You agree to complete and pay for 8 lessons within 10 weeks of your start date. The same will apply to enrollment in our class programs. This does not include summer "flex" agreements***
There are NO refunds for missed classes!!! Please consult your teacher for make up lessons. We respectfully request that any class cancellations get a 24-hour notice. Teachers MAY provide a make-up lesson for missed classes but are NOT required by policy to do so if 24-hour notice is not given.
There is a ONE TIME registration fee of $40.
Once during Fall semester AND once during Spring semester, there is a $25 material fee to cover studio instrument maintenance, printouts for student practice sheets, classroom and office supplies, as well as facilities maintenance and updates. A reminder email will be sent to the email address we have on file for you prior to each instance.
Please read ALL of the policies. Once you've registered, you agree to have read and understood our policies and procedures at Avanti Music Academy. As always, you are welcome to contact us with questions or concerns.
Rules and Policies
There are no refunds for missed classes as a result of vacations, student illness, and/or bad weather (though we will ALWAYS do our best to work with you in these instances). Keep in mind that withdrawal from the program prior to the completion of the semester (22 weeks from your start date) will also not be issued refunds. Credit of class tuition will be applied to your account if a class is canceled due to teacher’s absence if the teacher does not provide a reschedule. It is always important to keep direct communication with your teacher for any occurrences.
A parent or guardian is encouraged to stay on Avanti Music Academy private property if the lesson is during hours where there is only one teacher or staff member on the premises. If the parent chooses to leave the premises Avanti Music Academy will not be held responsible.
If you decide to terminate your contract early, your account will continue to be charged your tuition until the end of your 22 week commitment. If you choose the Pay in Full option you will not receive a refund for early termination.
Avanti Music Academy requires a credit card on file regardless of payment plan for all student accounts. This information can not be viewed by anyone. Changed to credit card information can be made at any time the student or family requires it.
Photo release policy -
From time to time, and especially during events, Avanti Music Academy may photograph or record video of the student or student's performance. These pictures and/or videos may be posted online, on our website, or to YouTube for viewing. In addition, they may be used on promotional materials from time to time. On occasion, they may be posted on our Facebook and/or Twitter page. By agreeing to a contract with Avanti Music Academy, you accept this as part of our terms. However, you have the option to opt out of this as well. If this is the case please tell us in the notes and we will ensure that no photos or videos of you are utilized, as well as do our best not to capture you in any shots. Please understand that background crowds and families may inadvertently be captured in recordings and shots.
Tuition Payment Plans
Auto Debit: Your account will be charged monthly, for a total of 5 months to complete your tuition payments. Any additional charges will be cleared and confirmed by the customer before being processed.
We DO NOT accept payments by check.
