Zachary earned degrees as a Bachelor of Music in both Music Performance and Music Education from West Chester University, where he studied guitar with Glenn Lyons and lute with Dr. Mark Rimple while studying privately with Grammy-winning artist Jason Vieaux. During this time, Zachary had completed a minor in Music History wherein he performed academic research on the music of John Dowland.
As a performer, Zachary has quickly developed a reputation for himself. He was a featured artist with the Allentown Band as well as the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra, who had invited Zachary back to perform with them in their 2014 'Emerging Genius' concert. As an award-nominated musician, Zachary has appeared on television, radio, and has been featured in print on numerous occasions.
As an educator an academic, Zachary has taught a number of aspiring musicians to achieve their goals. Many of his students become fine musicians, and have even gone to pursue music at a collegiate level. Through Zachary's progressive curriculum encompassing every aspect of guitar technique accompanied by level-appropriate repertoire of songs and pieces, students have shown tremendous success.
