Matthew Eschliman

Matthew Eschliman has been a lifelong lover of music. Growing up in a family of musicians he learned to sing before learning to talk. A jack of all trades he has been involved in bands, orchestras, and choral ensembles since early childhood. His passion for music leads him to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Doane University. During his time in college, he was a leading member of premier ensembles including choral, men’s acapella, barbershop, jazz band, jazz choir, and wind ensemble styles. In addition to his ensembles, Matthew also received private instruction in classical voice, jazz voice, piano, and brass instruments from a variety of esteemed studio teachers. Matthew is also trained in classical music theory, jazz music theory, improvisation, aural skills, and arranging.
After graduation, Matthew taught middle school vocal and general music in Grand Island, Nebraska. During this time he also sang with various professional choral ensembles in the Lincoln area. As well as providing his instrumental skills for musical pit orchestras ranging from community to professional organizations. Outside of his ensemble music-making Matthew has provided private voice lessons, arranging, and live sound engineering for organizations across Nebraska.
Matthew believes that music can change lives. He is excited to bring his passion for music to future students. Through music, we can change the world.
